Awesome d day lot first is the leaflet given out to those on way to normandy. Also includes short d day letter that had the leaflet enclosed postmarked June 8th the letter basically says they are safe and haven't left yet it's noted on top Tuesday evening which would be June 6th 1944. Also has guide to England and a rare guide to France which mentions the invasion on first page meaning it to was handed out close to d day. Also has a original mimeograph from the soldiers home town... in Manchester new Hampshire note time it was printed up at 3.22 am the invasion was announced over the radio at 3am eastern time...other items include a photo of the Gi that sent these items home and one short unit history and a long unit history two pages..last is front page from French newspaper dated Sept 1944 rough shape ...these items where saved by Livingston and Marston chase of Manchester nh the brothers served in the same unit the 128th anti air artillery company d their unit didn't land on Omaha beach until June 26th with their guns they arrived on the lst 1217 the same lst Ernie pyle arrived in a few days before.. a great historic find rare grouping free shipping usa...
