Vintage Enameled Silver ThimbleRussian - Circa 1927-1958This solid silver thimble has twisted wire rimmed compartments filled with blue and white enamels. The rim is stamped with the Russian silver hallmark used between 1927-1957 and is for 916 pure silver, a higher grade of silver than the usual. The 'a' to the left of the hallmark is for Leningrad. It also has a maker's mark and is gilded inside.
