Vintage 1940s Australian Peter Pan Model 0 Child's Sewing MachineThis is an excellent example of the renowned Australian Peter Pan Miniature Toy Sewing Machine. It was made by Colton, Palmer & Preston Adelaide, South Australia from 1942 until they closed in 1964 when the equipment was sold. They produced 2 Peter Pan models known as the Model 0 and the Model 1. This one is the earlier Model 0.It is in full working order and has retained its table clamp. It has a cast iron body embossed... “PETER PAN”. It has a black paint finish with a red, gold and blue “Peter Pan” decal (intact) featuring the Peter Pan fictional character.It is excellent complete condition with no faults or damage to report; free of rust; a little loss of the gloss finish on the paint (nothing significant – mentioned for accuracy).
