Here's a vintage Jack-In-The-Box toy from the 1950s.....although when you crank the little handle on side nothing happens, it can be opened manually from the little lever on top that holds the lid closed. 5 1/2"tall x 5 1/4"square.....it has a different clown on all 4 sides and top.....inside is a plastic clown head on a spring, which is a little loose but could be fastened better with a rubber band or something.
