Vintage GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Member Medal Badge, Post 343, Cambridge Ohio.Reversible with black fabric one side and red-white-blue the other.  My guess is the black side is for funerals.The GAR was a fraternal organization organized in 1866.  It was composed of Veterans of the Civil War and lasted until 1956 with the death of it's final member.Measures apprx 8" tall including the metal fringe.  Very good condition, see pictures.Great gift or addition to ...your collection.
