VNTG, WW2 USMC ,   Neither the original cosmoline wrapped ( Mil-C- 11796C Class 3 ) bayonet or  the M3 scabbard w/ the US stamped inside the flaming bomb have not been used.  Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. I was a Marine supply corporal in the early 60's and I'm selling some of my items . The bayonet is 77 years old and still wrapped  has to be in MINT condition & the scabbard w/ fiberglass green body, a metal throat & equipped w/ hooks which attach to the... cartridge belt is in excellent condition.  Enjoy a piece of military history. Cosmoline wrapped is a really really RARE fine!! Photo # 5 shows that I opened the cosmoline enough to show that it was made by Pal Blade and Tool ( PAL ) , Plattsburg N.Y. They produced 210, 000 M1 bayonets from 1942 to 1944. This bayonet is stamped 1942. very few if any are still wrapped. Photo # 3 show that the scabbard was not cut down.
