*FATHER'S DAY SALE*.

RARE ANTIQUE 1800's U.S. CIVIL WAR VETERAN GAR SONS OF VETERANS OFFICERS SWORD. Condition is Used. Shipped with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.

*The scabbard is pitted but there is no rust on it or the sword that I can tell. Sorry for the poor pictures*

Hello! I am selling this very cool Civil War sword. It's actually sons of veterans which was GAR. They gave these to the first born male of a Civil War Union Veteran I believe. It's in gre...at shape for it's age. It is marked 1861 then a 65...but I'm not sure if the 1861 is the model number or year made. My eyes are not that good. Maybe a collector will know more. I have seen a very similar sword for sale in a civil war antiques sites for 650 to 900. I'm not sure but it is a very cool relic and could only be worth more as the years pass by.
