Item History & Price
We are fortunate to have a small but very important collection of Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Full Lace porcelains to offer this season. If you are a collector, be sure to keep checking as we are able to list them for you. All items sell at auction. We do not end auctions early for offers. This auction offers a fine Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Full Lace teapot for you this... week. The pot is about 8" tall and measures 8-3/4" from handle to spout. It is decorated in the delicate Royal Copenhagen blue and white floral design on a fluted surface with the aptly named "full lace" reticulated edges to the rim of the pot. The teapot also has masks under the spout and handle. Blue Fluted was first produced in 1775, the year Royal Copenhagen began production, and it is still in demand and produced today, some 245 years later. This beautiful teapot is mold number 1119. There is a tiny flake to the glaze only on the spout, which I have tried to photograph. There is no chip to the porcelain. The piece is signed by Royal Copenhagen Denmark and dates to 1950. This whole collection is a terrific find for a dedicated collector. Be sure to revisit us for more from this privately held collection.
