Vlissingen, Netherlands Royal Delft de Porceleyne Art Tile, gold detail, 1900.. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This Delft tile, representing the city of Vlissingen, Netherlands, is one of several that came from a home in Germany. The family traveled throughout Europe during the early 1900s and brought back treasured mementos of their trips.This tile has beautiful matte and gloss glazing which includes gold metallic detail. The Delft trademark is impressed on the ba...ck, along with the number 3. The colors are crisp and vibrant. The original string on which the tile is hung is present, but I strongly recommend replacing it if you wish to hang the tile on your wall.There is a tiny chip on the bottom left corner of the tile edge. See photo number seven.The tile is square and measures 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) on each side and is 0.39 inches (1 cm) high. It weighs 10.3 oz (297 g).This tile is one of three similar tiles.
