Grand Army of the Republic Antique grave marker,
stamped on the back Trenton Emblem co, Trenton NJ
this company was in Trenton in the early century, very few references to it exist. I did find an old advertisement on google that was referencing 1915 selling dozens of flags
shaped like a star, 4 inches in size
made of aluminum with two mounting brackets on the back
Also includes two round shield discs
each measures 12 inches around
one has two holes-see photo...s
The other has an old wood peg in the center at the back for mounting
the two shields I did not see anything like them and the thought was they may have been forged as a tribute to a relative by a metalsmith
from a smokefree, not petfree home
