Click images to enlarge Description This beautiful trio set is in the Blue Iris pattern in the Queen Anne shape, manufactured by Shelley China of England. The English Registry No. 723404 dates it to 1926.
The cup stands 2-3/8" in height, and measures 3-1/4" in diameter across the flat sides at the top rim, not including the handle.
The saucer measures 5-1/8" across the flat sides.
The dessert plate measures 6-1/4" across the flat sides.
The delicate hand painted design is highlighted with raised orange enamel dots and blue trim around the rims.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing or hairlines. The cup "pings" when lightly tapped. The saucer and plate have a couple of tiny surface marks from use, mentioned for accuracy.
