(Original Scripts) Carroll, Lewis. ALICE IN WONDERLAND & THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS - ORIGINAL SHOOTING SCRIPTS. Adapted by award-winning playwright and novelist, Paul Zindel. Two Volumes. [Los Angeles, CA] Columbia Pictures, 1985. Printed in two volumes, one for each night's episode, this is a very rare script ("Third Draft" typed on the front page of each volume and "February, 1985" on the bottom) for the 1985 two-part made-for-television film adaptation of Lewis Carroll's books A...lice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. An Irwin Allen production, it used a huge all-star cast of notable actors and actresses, with the title role played by Natalie Gregory, who wore a blonde wig for this miniseries. Alice in Wonderland was first telecast December 9, 1985, (part one) and December 10, 1985 (part two), at 8:00pm EST on CBS. Bound in printed stiff paper wrappers, with the script affixed with brass brads. The script is typed and printed on one-side of 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of paper. The wrappers of each volume are lightly rubbed, with some wear and light creasing around the edges. From the library of famed Hollywood studio publicist (and former Herald Examiner journalist) Art Ronnie - this is an EXTREMELY RARE pair of scripts for a very notable television production.
