Original Description:
Silver Capstan Inkwell & Liner Birmingham 1912. Nice old inkwell complete with original clear glass liner. Minor dents above hinge as shown which in turn is very slightly strained so that the lid “grins” a little bit. A common fault with these but one nonetheless needs to be mentioned. Weighted base is in very good condition indeed. Hallmarks are clear and maker’s mark is WA. Diameter of base is a gnat’s whisker under 4.5 inches.
