Seven medium antique Chinese Qing Dynasty bronze Imperial Robe drop buttons. These ball-shaped buttons have a built in loop and each has an abstract swirling design across the surface of the ball. Their hanging length is 5/8 inches.These buttons are among a group of pieces representing the finest Chinese silver workfrom the Qing Dynasty. When the Communists came in, all jewelry andartifacts were confiscated from the citizenry by the government and store...d inwarehouses. In the 1970's, the government started selling the stock toselect dealers. This piece and others were purchased 35 years ago fromsome of the first traders who were allowed to buy this preciouswork.
