SEVRES STYLE FRENCH OLD PARIS PORCELAIN 8.5" TALL URNS, featuring RARE HAND-PAINTED SARACEN BATTLE SCENE PANELS IN FRONT - DIFFERENT ON EACH URN - AND GOLD GILT VIGNETTE PANELS IN THE BACK; LION-HEAD GILDED HANDLES, GOLD GILT ALL-OVER. BOTH URNS are BOLTED TO GILDED PEDESTALS. UNMARKED.The gorgeous pair is in beautiful vintage condition; all colors are still vivid; there is expected major wear to gilt due to age (easy to re-...gilt if desired). ALSO: While 1st urn is totally intact and has no chips or cracks of any sort, the 2nd urn has a crack on the side (see the photo before last), which is reinforced with silicone from the inside (see last photo) to prevent further damage.
