This listing is for a rare Meissen German porcelain figural grouping dating from the 19th Century. This is from their ALLEGORICAL OF THE ARTS series and measures approximately 4 3/4 inches height. It is model #1684 as stamped with 49 and painter # 22. Late 19th century, crossed blue swords mark .
Being Sold AS IS with condition issues as for restoration. Figure with mandolin has damage to top of mandolin, and broken piece is missing. Figure with book h...as one big toe missing, figure with writing tablet shows a shaved off sliver on top corner of the tablet. Figure sculpting appears to be intact with no damage noted to the figure or parts held in either hand. Price includes priority shipping and insurance to anywhere in the U.S.A .
