We are listing today a great Antique 19th century Stoneware Salt Glazed Decorated Large 4 Gallon Crock Lid. This lid is in Excellent Condition with 1 small surface nick to the outer rim of the round handle, a surface chip or nick to the lower outer inside rim, a ping chip to the bottom at the outer edge. No other chips, cracks, and or repairs. There is some slight manufactured roughness and an area of staining. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you... will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The lid measures 11 3/4" in diameter x 2" high at the handle, the inner lower rim is 9 3/4" at the outer diameter x 9" at the inner diameter and weighs approximately 5lb 3oz. From the size the lid looks to fit a 4 gallon or 3, the inside lower rim at 9 3/4" would determine the size it can fit. Great hand tooled rounded rim along with great center cobalt blue decoration.
