We are listing today a great Antique 19th C Stoneware Salt Glazed Decorated 3 Gallon Crock, either a Maryland or Virginia Piece. This crock is in Excellent Condition with 1 old smooth surface chip to the top outer rim and a nick beside it. No other chips, cracks, or repairs, some slight manufactured roughness, there is a faint below the salt glaze spider line below the one handle, you cannot feel it with your fingernail, 100% secure & sound, and some staining dar...kening to the salt glaze in areas. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The crock measures 14" tall x 8 1/8" at the top rim x 10 1/4" wide at the handles x 8 3/8" at the base and weighs approximately 12lb 8oz. The crock is marked with a circle ticked 3 at the top shoulder. Great decorations in cobalt blue, unique drooping buds with leaves at the top rim along with 2 hand tooled and applied ear handles with blue at each.
