Antique 19th C 1830s STONEWARE POTTERY Early GLAZED Ovoid Canning CROCK JAR #2- It is a really nicely early made storage canning or oyster crock or Jar. This one is slightly more rare as it has an ovoid shape as it earlier than most. Please view photos for your estimation. It is in good to very good antique condition no chips nor cracks. There are a very few minor chips along the base there are no cracks- there is some very minor wear around t...he top rim from use. It is a really nicely made and shaped crock. Measures approximately 7.5" tall and 4.5" diameter (from edge to edge) at base and approx 4.5" diam at top (edge to edge) and approx 3" opening(although hard to measure).
