Vintage 1960s Gibson Medalist USA Acoustic Classical Parlor Guitar w Case NICE This instrument comes to me from the estate of the original owner and looks to be in great condition. I read the ...Medalist was made by Gibson but there are no markings other than the sticker and 'made in USA' in the bowl. Lower bow is 13" across, 37" total length. I played it some and it has a bright 'campfire' folk sound that only comes from a vintage guitar like this. It is in nice condition with just a few assorted small nicks and scratches on the finish. The neck is straight with no signs of separation - it has always had strings on it and been stored in a main living area - no warping - 3 strings are nylon. The intonation is on pitch, the action is comfortable, the nut and bridge are tight and secure. New strings and minor setup is recommended. Outer case has some scuffs and scratches but not bad overall. Thanks for looking.
