From an estate in Coventry, CT., here is a 9" rimmed soup bowl and a 9.5" plate in an unmarked pattern. I originally thought it might be Chinese, but after seeking an opinion from several experts, I found that it was made in England during the early 19th century. The pattern is a rich and beautiful geometric all-over design and there is a rust colored trim color around the edges. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or crazing...some light wear to the... reddish trim line (see photos for the best representation) and they make an excellent addition to your collection.
