This listing is for a beautiful, vintage Madame Alexander Baby Kathy Doll circa 1958 - 1961. She appears to be a drink and wet doll, with a working squeaker, sleep eyes, and molded hair. She has jointed arms, elbows, legs, and neck. She is marked Alexander on the back of her neck. She is wearing her original outfit (with tag), consisting of an adorable organdy dress and matching bonnet, a sweet little cotton slip, and a snap on brushed cotton diaper. There are no... missing buttons or stains, and only one tiny pin size hole in the top of the bonnet (see photo). She measures ~ 20 1/2 inches from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. Her high color facial paint is flawless. Her hair is nearly perfect with minimal areas of rubbing in the back (see photo). Her beautiful eyes are clear, with full lashes, and an unusual coloring (light green in the center, encircled by blue rings) much like that of a baby eyes changing from newborn blue to a permanent shade of green. They are fairly clear, with slight age related yellowing of the whites. Her baby smile will capture your heart. Additional pictures can be provided upon request.
