RARE FOLMER GRAFLEX CROWN No 2 VINTAGE WOODEN TRIPOD EXC

Here is a really nice condition fully working FOLMER & SCHWING DIVISION, EASTMAN KODAK (GRAFLEX) CROWN No 2 Vintage wooden tripod. Everything works exactly as it should and you may never find a better example. The wood is beautiful while the brass hardware has some patina acquired over time. The brass could be polished if necessary to return the original glow. Also fitted with a brass safety chain. The patent date is June 23 1903.
The top is 6 " (or 15.5cm) in ...diameter and the legs are 17 1/2" ( 44cm) when folded and 56 1/2" ( 144cm) when extended. Very sturdy construction.
The last photo also shows the size difference between this Crown No 2 tripod and the smaller Crown No 1 tripod I have for sale in another auction.
