This doll has brown eyes and while I have read and been told that there are no brown eyed Cissy dolls I believe her eyes are original to her. She is missing lashes on her right eye. Her nylons have some tiny holes. The skirt lining has one spot of tiny holes shown in the photos. The bodice of the dress is lined with tulle which is intact but the overlay of lace on the bodice has holes shown in pictures. The unbelievably fine tulle of the skirt and veil see...m to be intact but there is A LOT of it there and there could be tiny tears so I do not guarantee there aren't any. Her white shoes have rhinestones as does her garter. The beautiful Medici cap headpiece has the original flowers and by some miracle she also has her original bouquet. In reading about this dress it says there should be two tiny pearl "circlets" decorating the beautiful pink silk ribbon which decorates the waist and ties in a huge bow at the back. The ribbon on this doll does not have circlets and shows no evidence of them ever being there. I am happy to respond to questions and I would very much appreciate hearing from Cissy collectors their opinion about her brown eyes.
