A lovely Vintage early 20th C Hand Made Applique Lone Star Pennsylvania Quilt. Excellent Condition extremely slight surface wear, some lightness in areas throughout the orange backing fabric, possibly the original fabric coloring. You can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition, very clean. Measuring 94 1/2" x 79" and weighing 4lbs the quilt has a wonderful large multi color Lone Star bordered by a orange ...box, outside are 4 blocks of embroidered heart shaped leaves and berries, on the 2 sides triangle designs of grapes, the outer perimeter embroidered with intertwined designs, the star being slight up so the bottom can hang over the bed. All applique pieces and embroidery hand sewn, the outer perimeters to fabric boxes appear to be machine stitched, the backing is 3 pieces of fabric, summer quilt no internal stuffing.
