Who needs a new project?This is a Paragon quilt top kit from the 1930-40's.It comes with what is left of the box and the "instruction" sheet (very vague).It comes with the tan percale background fabric and the browns and green applique fabrics all stamped with shapes numbers to cut.The original kit came stamped with the applique placements in solid line and the quilting patterns in dotted lines.This quilter finished six of the appliques with no problem.Then she started appliqueing the ...next pieces on the dotted stamped background that was meant for the quilting instead of the solid line background that was meant for applique pieces.I believe all the parts are here, and that you can figure out how to make this error work, if you would like to complete the top.I could not find a finished size on the box or the instruction sheet.Keep in mind that this is "tan" percale so it looks a little darker than muslin and some might think it is darkened with dirt and not the color it came in.A nice example of the quilt kit era.Ask questions.
