A Lovely Pair Of George the 3rd Silkwork tapestries.Dated late 1700sMounted within mourning mounts, held within their original gilt wood frames. Under glass.Each depicts a young lady, within a landscape, both wearing Georgian period clothing.Stunning work depicting two Georgian ladies enjoying their gardens. The gardens have been intricately threaded with different techniques creating depth and texture. A real rare find. Age related wear and fading as seen in my photographs. Frames are... cracked in several places due to age, these can be seen in my photographs. There is a tear over a face of one of the silkworks, this is due to age. Please see photo 10 and 11 and examine carefully.
