You are bidding for a charming antique Georgian framed embroidery/painted on silk picture dating from circa 1780. Measuring approximately 33 x 27 cms, the picture depicts a doctor and servant coming to the aid of someone in distress, probably based on the good samaritan story, with a horse in the background and a dog in the foreground. It is in very good condition as the colours are still very bright and there are only a few very minor tears to the silk at the top of ...the picture. The frame is later, however suits the picture and was done by an antique shop. A really lovely item for display and to add to a collection- offered with no reserve - don't miss it!
