PAIR OF MANTLE VASES VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED ROSES, GOLD ACCENTS. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Beautiful pair of matching mantle urns for your home. These antique Victorian styled urns are made of porcelain ceramic and feature a cream base background with hand painted roses in pinks and mauve. There is brilliant gold accenting everywhere, on the handles and banding around the urns. The backside has a single rose stem and leaves These urns are atta...ched to their pedestal base with bolt and nut and can be turned into lamps if one so desired. In excellent condition; no chips or cracks and no missing paint on the flowers, all gold is present with the exception of some worn off along the base of the pedestals (please see photo for reference). not sure if it is worn as opposed to the artist not having enough paint on her/his brush as glaze is over it. These handsome urns measure approx. 13" tall and 7" wide at the handles. Since these are hand painted urns may show some differences from each other. These will be carefully packed and insured for safe delivery. These were my mother in laws vases who passed at the age of 99 in 2011. These were her treasures so i only would like buyers who will treasure these as she did for fear of karma from her on the other side. My children would not be interested in inheriting these so it is time i pass my treasures on. I am not sure of their age but I have looked at them in her home since 1963 and am sure she purchased or acquired these many years before i knew her. From research I have done it appears they are from the 1930's I will be happy to answer any questions.
