Item: Authentic 1930's ClockDescription: For Sale is a 1930's Chromed Metal & Glass Wall Clock that screams "ART DECO!!!". This one was Made in USA by Warren Telechron and is their "Sessions Clock - Model 6W". The Glass face portion measures 5" Wide. The Overall width across rear is 7 3/4". At one time I think someone altered the rear panel of this clock to change the plug portion. You'll notice that the electrical plug in rear ...comes out of a hole which is not original. On the underside front base there is a knob for adjusting the clock hands and there is an additional empty hole which most likely had original plug coming from it (photo#7). But, someone didn't like seeing the plug go down the length of the wall so they did away with the long plug and made it short so this could be mounted very close to a wall socket. Either way, it is irrelevant because the electrical cord will need to be replaced. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade this item's condition to be a solid 6. Overall and Especially for being 75+ Years Old, this Highly Decorative Collectible Wall Clock is in Very Good NON-WORKING Condition. It is No Less than 85% Immaculate. I don't sell dirty items from my store. The Glass Face has Zero Cracks/Chips. It is in wonderful condition even if you hold up to the light looking for scratches. The Chromed Stepped Metal Edge has Zero Dents/Dings and at least 80% of the Original Chrome Finish remains. In my last two photos, it shows the inside of the clock from the removable back and how the insulation of the electrical cord is falling apart which has exposed some wires and therefore does NOT electrically work. I am VERY confident once a new cord is attached this clock will work like a champ!! It is so totally worth restoring and putting back into use. Also, just under the #12 on clock face there is a circle that changes from red back to "white" (off white nowadays) depending on P.M. or A.M.
