NOS Bi-Plane Boy Scout Airman FELT without WORDS Proficiency Award Badge Troop ($1 Opening Bid & NO hidden reserve) (PS 119A) DESCRIPTION: Airman proficiency badge, this is a very hard to find badge and especially in this condition (I think this is the rarest badge I have listed this week, I do not recall this badge ever being sold on eBay so the final SALE pric...e should be on interest to all those that collect proficiency badges) Style Variation: Felt version without the Boy Scouts text, with black backing, some felt badges had no backings while others had a variety of different backings (the felt variation is thought to have been introduced in 1910) Size: 1 3/8 inches or 35 mm in diameter (it seems that the diameters of the felt style badge varied without any consistent size) CONDITION: Looks like New Old Stock, never sewn (the colour and images on this badge remain very strong and vibrant, see images for greater detail) OPENING BID*: $1 VALUE*: $100+ Estimated SHIPPING**: $3 (eBay’s Estimated Shipping amount.
