This is a very old handmade solid brass pie crimper with copper wheel. This is not the newer, made in Germany version that you often see but a pre-1850s handmade pie crimper. It measures 4.25" long with a 1-1/16" in diameter wheel. You can see all the hand filing throughout the entire crimper. It is in excellent condition and came out of Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania area. This one has a great design, no markings or stamps. Guaranteed very old.
