Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of amazing vintage stylized circus clown curtains.  Circa '50s / '60s.  We believe the design to be by Apolinar.  These will look amazing in a children's room or game room.  Each curtain features happy and sad clown in the foreground.  They are done in red, blue and yellow against an off-white background.  There are other circus acts (ie. tightrope walker, ringmaster, etc.). that are done ...to appear as though they are in the distant background. The curtains are unmarked insofar as the manufacturer goes. The both have cloth lining on the reverse side. Measurements:  Each of the two curtains measures approx. 53" tall.  The width distance across the bottom is approx. 48".  The width distance across the pinch pleated top is approx. 25" wide.  There are six (6) pinch pleats on each.  Each of the curtains consists of two panels carefully sewn together at the 32" mark.
Condition: The curtains are in great condition - no rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc.  The colors are nice and rich!  The cloth lining on the back side shows some yellowing on each, and one shows a moisture mark.  Said mark did not translate to the curtain material, but we are mentioning it for accuracy.  The material has been folded away in bins in storage for years, and as such, there are some creases and wrinkles.  Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
