This lovely vintage basket weave decorated bronze vase/basket with a snail is signed on its base. It's approximately 10± inches high and about 3± inches wide.
The snail turns - although I'm not sure that's intentional but it can be positioned to appear to be crawling up or down the vase. It's not loose and, if you look inside the vase/basket, you can see that there's a post on the inside that may or may not have had a nut attached to it (although I can't imagine how on...e would fasten a nut to the post).
