Superb pair of 19thc porcelain Staffordshire poodles with pup. Dating c.1850.
Excellent attention to detail on this pair of recumbent poodles with a single pup also recumbent. The dogs lie on a cobalt blue cushion base with gilt trim. The dogs are beautifully marked with fine faces and a wonderful haughty expression.
Measures some 3" height x some 3.5" length.
Condition: Dog facing to left figure has restoration to base and underside. C...ouple of fine hairlines across top of dog's back and restoration to back legs and base of tail, it looks like. The other figure is in very good age commensurate condition. See all images please.
