1800s HERBAL REMEDY MEDICAL MANUSCRIPT"DIRECTION FOR THE PUKES." Single sheet, rag paper, measuring 13 by 8 inches. A fascinating American 19th century herbal medical manuscript, including a recipe titled "Direction for the Pukes." One recipe starts: "Take of horehound & Colt's foot of each one handful of flaxseed...".
