OBJECT// Antique Chinese very beautiful complex display stand for a carved object, this piece is a work of art in its own right and very beautiful to handle, the object is in the form of a miniature low table, fine archaic style strap work to the sides, carved from a solid piece of quality boxwood and using the grain of the tree as decoration to the flat surface, very much a scholars taste object, dating from the mid 19th century, Qing Dynasty, fine piece full of intricate detail, superb colour and patina, serious collectors object.
