This is a wonderful original antigue metal mantle clock with excellent details of President Roosevelt steering  the ship during Depression, symbolic of America's struggle to end the Great Depression of the 1930's.  The clock is all original and free from damage or major wear. The clock is electric and in working order .           The early electric clocks of the 1930s used the  SPIN START to get the clock to start and keep time. A e...asy  spin gets the clock running. This system was only used for a couple of years on the early electric clocks, the automatic start function of the mid-1930s was invented and therefor made the spin start out dated... This clock is the early version and in working order.   This clock is all original and a wonderful example of American History during the depression.  
The clock is about 14 inches tall and 9 inches wide  and 4 inches deep at the base. 
NOTE: Spin start electric clocks (like this one) have a spin knob control on the back of the clock which must be spun in order to get the clock to work...the knob must be spun in the correct direction or the clock will run backwards...
