Original Description:
This listing is for a stunning, vintage mid century Finnish Modern Kaj Franck pitcher. It was made for ARABIA FINLAND circa 1950. This was probably one of the earliest production designs by the wonderful Finnish designer Kaj Frank.  The pitcher is backstamped with the ARABIA crown and the words ARABIA "made in Finland" and the number "1". The bottom is embossed with KF2 which is another indication of an early design by Franck. The abstract design was a featured style by ...Arabia. The stunning green and cream color along with the abstract rendering give the vase eye-catching appeal. It measures approximately 7" tall and 5-1/2" wide at the widest point. There is very minor crazing on the bottom consistent with the age of the pitcher. It is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This piece would be a handsome addition to any mid-century pottery collection._____________­­­___________Pleaseview the pictures/scans.
