Original Realist stereo viewer for transparencies. Comes with time period original batteries, are depleted.Viewer tested and working perfectly. Scarce model. Viewer is overall in very nice condition, has had minor repair internally and works perfectly. The lenses are in excellent condition, no cracks and clean, shows no glass chip off. Shows no scuff marks, no dings and no scratches on the plastic material. Elements are original and clean. Focus moves smooth. A "Realist" Format Viewer.... (circa 1955) without box.
For viewing Realist format 3D Stereo Slides - uses internal lighting source, lightbulb and batteries. Focus adjustable to view slides perfectly. Some expected wear but no damage, for 60+ years it’s faired better than us!! Highly collectible very retro perfect for viewing 3D Stereo Slides. This viewer views stereo pairs that were in the '"Realist" format. The viewer had a thumb wheel located on the top which allowed the user to focus to suit their individual eyesight. The viewer was manufactured by “David White Co.”This is from my viewer collection, the same one is on eBay for £160 with box so a amazing buy for an entry level collector piece.
