Here we have an exceptionally nice ~ ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED 800 SILVER & ENAMEL PILL / STAMP BOX ~ that we recently acquired out of an estate. It is marked 800 on the inside bottom. This little box is most likely Italian and appears to be nicer than most you see. It measures approximately 1 1/2 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches deep by just under 3/8 of an inch tall and weighs 19 grams. It has a nice hand painted courtyard scene with a gentleman and two young women. The over all condition ...is pretty nice although there are some expected little scuffs / scratches to the hand painted scene from being carried. All in all it displays very nicely as you can see.
