Image: An original late 19th century photograph album containing 99 mostly hand tinted albumen prints of Japan. They are a mixture of views, portraits and trades, with an emphasis on views.This is a large album with a lacquer cover, and with the prints slipped in at the corners. Some prints appear to be original to this album, some are on trimmed mounts that appear to have been remounted from other albums, a few prints have been trimmed.
