Tinplate construction with original tin litho finish
nice size ... measures around 25 cm / 10 inches length with ladder closed.

full crew dressed in period uniforms
twin ladders, with rotating table....win...ding elevation and extension (strings will work but are bit stiff from lack of use...i always prefer to manually start extending ladders)
original tin balloon wheels , hardly any tread wear
front steering/ adjusting axle
full length running boards, and retains both additional rear side steps (often go missing)
Luxury version with electric, hood mounted emergency light (not tested); with cabin steering wheel and bell
Lovely looking tin toy....hard to believe it's 90+ year old
Excellent condition, clearly little used..... finish retains a bright appearance, with lovely colour; even the ladders are in great shape.displays just little edge wear marks, scuffs, loss to finish etc....
none of the often seen colour fade or rusting
Definitely not the usual tired looking example
underside is in fine shape, super clean .... still with original battery holder, wiring and switch

original fixed key winder; clockwork mechanism winds up nicely, fire truck rolls forward.
FIRE ENGINE DISPLAYS GREAT.....WOULD BE HARD TO FIND MUCH CLEANER
this is a real period piece, some 90+ years old....not a modern item
