Up for auction is a World War 2 USM3 Kinfolks Fighting Knife. The leather handles look to be in good condition other than a slight chip out of one of them. There is what appears to be a metal pin in the middle of the handles. The crossguard is loose. The top of the crossguard is marked, U.S. M3, K.I. The blade has been sharpened. The bottom of the pommel is marked with a flaming bomb. It measures 11-1/8" long overall. The blade is 6-3/16" long. The sheath is marked, USM8, B.M. Co. The ...bottom of the flange is marked B-N over 9. The sheath is numbered as can be seen in the pictures. The sheath does look to have been repaired at some point near the tip as can be seen in the pictures. We have not cleaned this knife up in any way and could use a good cleaning.
