Vintage Tinplate Clockwork Schuco Akustico 2002 Car, Made in GermanyA nice vintage tinplate clockwork Akustico 2002 open-top car with red body, black base, grey seats, steering front wheels, horn (?) and brake lever, made by the Schuco Co. inGermany, probably in the 1950’s or 1960’s. It is in good to very good used condition with playwear and general marks to the body, a replaced windscreen and non-original key. It measures 5.5 inches long by 2.5 wide and 2 inches tall, and has ni...ce detail to the dashboard. The clockwork motor works, moving the car forward, as does the steering (turning steering wheel), and the hornsound (produced by winding a separate crown underthe car just below the 2002 and pressing the button in the centre of the steering wheel). The brake leverpulls back, but slips back and does not seem to work.Marked under the base “Schuco Akustico 2002” and “Made in Germany”.Please see the other vintage toys I have listed. Vintage Tinplate Clockwork Schuco Akustico 2002 Car,
Made in Germany
A nice vintage tinplate clockwork Akustico 2002 open-top car
with red body, black base, grey seats, steering front wheels,
horn (?) and brake lever, made by the Schuco Co. in
Germany, probably in the 1950’s or 1960’s.
It is in good to very good used condition with playwear and
general marks to the body, a replaced windscreen and
non-original key. It measures 5.5 inches long by 2.5 wide
and 2 inches tall, and has nice detail to the dashboard.
The clockwork motor works, moving the car forward,
as does the steering (turning steering wheel), and the horn
sound (produced by winding a separate crown under
the car just below the 2002 and pressing the button
in the centre of the steering wheel). The brake lever
pulls back, but slips back and does not seem to work.
Marked under the base “Schuco Akustico 2002”
and “Made in Germany”.
