Vintage Books - 19 Volumes of International Library of Famous Literature
c. 1900 This auction is for a set of vintage books entitled International Library of Famous Literature. There should be 20 volumes - the lot is for 19, volume 18 being the missing volume.Edited by Richard Garnett (British Museum 1851 - 1899) these volumes have full page black and white illustrations (c. 500 across the entire set as I understand)These books are in good condition - there is one loose ...page in one volume, there is some light foxing around the edges of many of the pages, the spine of two of the volumes has some staining (see photos) and there is an ink stain on the outside edge of the pages on one of the volumes
I inherited these from my late parents who I believe inherited them from theirs.
Due to the weight these books would be despatched by Hermes but could also be collected from SL0
