Offered is a beautiful Northern California Pit River (Achumawi) Indian Globular Twined Basket with the intricate, finely woven "foot" design. This beautiful basket measures 6" at widest point by 3 1/2" tall. It is solid and in good antique condition but it appears the very top rim is mostly missing. No other damage other than it is slightly misshaped in parts and some areas of darkening from age/use. The two white spots in pictures are stickers that say "E". They came with th...e basket so I've left them with it. It came from a Kansas collection and I'll send previous owner's name to winning bidder.
