Superb 19thc Black Forest oak carved dog with shelf over. Dating c.1870. Excellent attention to relief carved detail on this Black Forest shelf with seated figure of a dog facing to the left. Behind the dog is its kennel and a tree with pierced decoration.
The shelf measures some 7.75" height x 8" length at back of shelf x 4.75" depth at shelf.Condition is excellent and age commensurate. All as per images.
