For sale is a classic piece of Talavera by URIARTE from Puebla, Mexico. It’s beautifully hand-painted in blues and natural ‘white’ by superb craftsmen. The design is called ‘Regina’ and it marries beautifully with the other Uriarte designs. It’s signed on the bottom with Uriarte’s logo and info plus DO4 which signifies that it’s from 1 of 4 original Talavera designations. The real deal.
The bowl is 9.5 inches across, and has a rise (height) of approximately 1 3/4 inc...hes. The semi-scalloped effect makes it easy to get a thumb-hold. It’s PERFECT: No chips, cracks or crazing. Vivid lush colors with subtle shades of blue.This will be carefully boxed and shipped quickly. It comes from a non-smoker with no pets.
