This is a good Royal Doulton Dewars Whisky jug standing 20cm (about 8") tall.It is marked with the Royal Doulton England mark which dates it to the early 20th century. It is marked with registered number 508037. I have seen versions with this figure on with the name Falstaff but there is no name on this jug.
The jug displays as perfect but on inspection with UV light you can see that the spout and foot rim have been professionally restored. I have shown the restoration under UV ligh...t in the photos. Please study the photos carefully to satisfy yourself with the condition of the piece.
